Centre of education in building industry

STUDIO AXIS spol. s r.o. (Ltd.) is working in the field of lifelong adult education in the Czech Republic since 1994. Our activities are focused on construction and related sectors.

From the very beginning we have been working closely with the Czech Technical University in Prague as well as with other universities, the Czech Chamber of Licensed Engineers and Technicians, the Czech Chamber of Architects, the National Heritage Institute, ministries and other relevant institutions.

Our educational program is staffed by highly qualified lecturers from among the leading specialists of universities, institutions and major companies.

All our educational offerings are part of the educational project of the Czech Chamber of Licensed Engineers, and some are also accredited by the Ministry of Interior for the purpose of training the employees of local governments.

STUDIO AXIS spol. s r.o. has a long-standing cooperation with renowned media groups and has extensive experience in publishing.

Below are some of the major projects undertaken in recent years:

Annually since 2001

RESTORATION OF MONUMENTS

A professional conference with accompanying exhibition and excursions, organized regularly in cooperation with the central department of the National Heritage Institute, Faculty of Architecture of CTU and the Czech National Committee ICOMOS.

2005 - 2007

INSTRUCTION FOR PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION METHODOLOGISTS AND PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE PROCUREMENT, MANAGEMENT AND RESTORATION OF PUBLIC PROPERTY

Joint project with the Faculty of Civil Engineering implemented under the Operational Program Human Resources Development, and supported by the European Social Fund, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and Prague Municipal Administration.

2005 - 2007

COURSE IN NATIONAL MONUMENT CARE, Telc

A two-week course taking place in the historic town of Telc organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture of CTU, intended for specialists working in the field of cultural heritage.

TECHSTA

International Conference on Technologies for Sustainable Development of Construction, organized in cooperation with the Faculty of the Czech Technical University in Prague.

1996 - 2004

CONCON

Concrete Construction - a series of international exhibitions and seminars on concrete engineering.

1995

BUILD Prague ´95

The exhibition of more than hundred British companies involved in the construction business done with the support of the British Department of Trade and Industry.
